I still call my pajamas my "jammies." Does that make me any less of an adult? No. Does wearing an unisex tshirt to bed make me less of a woman? Maybe? Is this the age in my life in which I am supposed to start wearing little teddies to sleep in? Don't get me wrong - I think little cotton or silk dresses are actually pretty cute, but unisex tshirts are most often free. Is someone giving away free jammy dresses? No one I know.
IS THERE A MORE OFFICIAL NAME FOR THIS? Clearly, I'm not adult enough to even know what they are called. I googled it. It's a chemise. Not a jammy dress.
When I looked it up on wikipedia, here's a photo that popped up.

| A fashionable young man? Well, that's not all that different from the off the shoulder sweatshirt I often wear to bed. |

I spend enough money on clothing, do I really want to add cute, feminine jammies to that budget? No. Well, when I describe them as "cute and feminine," yes. When I wake up, will I then have to switch into an unisex tshirt in order to cross my living room to get to my bathroom? Yes.
